慶覺寺 KEIGAKUJI
Zen at the Edge of the World

Sit / Half-Day Immersion

Half-Day Immersion

Time at the temple’s pace.

Give the practice a little more time. Half-Day Immersion runs from 10 am to 4 pm, bringing together seated and walking meditation, a short talk, and tea in the Buddha Hall.

There is room to learn the posture, settle into sitting, and bring your questions. The invitation is simple: spend time with the practice, in a living Sōtō Zen temple in the mountains of Niigata.
